BUILDING AD HOC COMMITTEE

A meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Building Ad Hoc Committee was called to
order by Chairman Michael J. Beverage at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the
District offices located at 4622 Plumosa Dr., Yorba Linda, CA.
DIRECTORS PRESENT AT ROLL CALL:
Michael J. Beverage, Chairman
John W. Summerfield
STAFF PRESENT:
Ken Vecchiarelli, Asst.GM/ Eng. Mgr.
William Moorhead, Sr. Project Engineer
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
The Committee discussed the latest construction cost estimate and project schedule
which included key milestones, the next of which is the presentation to the City of
Placentia Planning Commission on August 8, 2006 at 6:30 PM.
INFORMATION ITEMS:
Staff reported the status of progress on various project elements which included the off
site storm drain, street improvements, and specific requirements by the City of
Placentia. The detailed cost estimate prepared by an independent third party came in at
$6.27 M for the building and $1.19 M for the site improvements.
ADJOURNMENT:
The committee adjourned at 4:35 p.m. The next Building Ad Hoc Committee Meeting is
scheduled for August 17, 2006 at 4:00 PM if necessary.
