A meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Building Ad Hoc Committee was called to
order by Chairman Michael J. Beverage at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was held at the
District offices located at 4622 Plumosa Dr., Yorba Linda, CA.

STAFF PRESENT:
Ken Vecchiarelli, Asst.GM/Engr. Mgr.
William Moorhead, Sr. Project Engineer
Mike Robinson, Assist. Admin./Public Info.
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
The Committee discussed the project schedule which included key milestones, the next
of which is putting the project out for bids on Sept. 8, 2006. Staff suggested a process
of prequalifying contractors. Legal counsel will be consulted on this matter. The
Committee discussed public information initiatives with emphasis that the new
administration building was an important part of an aggressive capital projects program
which includes expansion, repair and replacement of several critical water and sewer
system improvements.
INFORMATION ITEMS:
Staff reported the second submittal of construction plans and documents to the City of
Placentia is scheduled next week for review and approval. The storm drain design is
nearing completion and should be bid in mid September or early October. Coordination
with MWD, MWDOC and the City of Placentia representatives is an on-going process
with regards to street improvements on Richfield and Miraloma Avenue.
ADJOURNMENT:
The committee adjourned at 5:05 p.m. The next Building Ad Hoc Committee meeting is
scheduled for September 21, 2006 at 4:00 PM.
