The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
Water District was called to order by President Cromwell at 8:30
A.M, in the District offices at 4622 Plumosa, Yorba Linda.
Directors present: Paul R. Armstrong, Whit Cromwell, Sterling
Fox, M. Roy Knauft,.Jr., William R. Mills, Jr., Also present:
Ralph C. Shook general manager, Arthur C. Korn assistant general
manager, William J. Robertson planning manager, Juanita Harris
office manager, Arthur G. Kidman legal counsel, Michael Beverage
Mayor of Yorba Linda.
Motion by Director Armstrong and seconded by Director Mills to
approve the consent calendar as follows: Approval of the minutes
as submitted of the meeting of May 29, 1986 and authorization for
the Directors to leave the State of California prior to the next
meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Kidman reported the Pass-Through agreement with the City of
Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency had been signed by the City of
Yorba Linda.
Motion by Director Knauft and seconded by Director Fox to approve
for payment the audited bills and rate deposits in the amount of
$221,401.47 on checks No. 1081 thru 10262. Motion carried
unanimously.
Mr. Robertson reported on the status of the meeting with the
County of Orange regarding tax equalization.
Director Knauft reported on the Finance - Accounting Committee
meeting of June 5, 1986.
Directors Fox and Armstrong reported on the Personnel meeting of
June 5, 1986.
Director Knauft reported on the City Council meeting of June 2,
1986.
General manager Shook and assistant general manager Korn reported
on the Ground Water Producers meeting of June 3, 1986.
Assistant general manager Korn reported on the CSDA Board meeting
of June 10, 1986 in Sacramento.
Director Armstrong reported on the WACO meeting of June 6, 1986
and RAW meeting of June-10, 1986.
The CSDA' s Day in the Capital, scheduled for June 10, 1986, was
canceled because the Legislature had been called into Special
Session.
Director Mills reported on the Planning Commission meeting of
June 11, 1986.

President Cromwell and Director Armstrong reported on the Tour of
the District of June 7, 1986 for thirty four persons signing up
at the Anniversary Party in November. The Tour was conducted by
our planning manager William J. Robertson and public information
officers Jim and Pam Van Haun. The tour included stops at
Metropoitan Water District's Diemer Plant, OC 51, the Yorba Linda
W:Ater District's Telemetry's system at the plant on Richfield
Road, the Orange County Water District's settling basins along
the Santa Ana River between Imperial and Lakeview, Anaheim Lake,
the Yorba Linda Water District's reservoirs Spring View, Little
Canyon, Bryant Ranch and the development in the eastern part of
the District. Another Tour will be scheduled later this year.

There being no further business, motion by Director Armstrong and
seconded by Director Knauft to adjourn. Motion carried
unanimously.
