The ad.iourned regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Yorba Linda Water District was called to order by President
Cromwell at 3:30 P.M. Fridav. September 4. 1987 in the district
offices at 4622 Plumosa, Yorba Linda. Directors present: Paul R.
Armstrong:. Whit Cromwell. M. Rov Knauft, Jr., Sterling Fox. Also
present were Ralph Shook. General Manager, Art Korn, Assistant
General Manager. Bill Robertson, Executive Assistant to the
General Manager and Mike Robinson, Assistant Administrator II.
The meeting was scheduled as a work shop session to announce the
selection of the candidate for the General Manager's position. A
letter, dated September 3, 1987, from Robert Murrav of Ralph
Anderson and Associates was read by President Cromwell. President
Cromwell moved and Director Fox seconded the motion to name
William P. Workman as the new General Manager/Secretary, per the
terms and conditions outlined in the letter from Robert Murray
effective September 28, 1987 at a annual salary of $67,500.
Motion carried unanimously.
President Cromwell read a letter addressed to Bill Robertson,from
the Board of Directors thanking him for his interest in the
position of General Manager.
The Board discussed items for a news release announcing the new
General Manager. October 23. 1987 was chosen as the date for
a Water District Open House.
The meeting was adi ourned at 4:30 P.M.
