' SUBJECT. Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
' The Public Information Committee met on July 20, 1994. Directors Paul Armstrong, Mike
Beverage, General Manager Bill Robertson, Public Information Officer Mike Robinson and
Executive Assistant to the General Manager Roger Lubin were present. The following issues were
discussed:
1. Discussion of Public Information consultant selection. Mr. Robertson, Mr. Lubin
' and Mr. Robinson reported on the status of the search for a consultant to undertake special
public information projects. Five consultant firms were interviewed by staff. Two of these
firms will be interviewed by the Committee. The Committee will make a recommendation to
' the Board of Directors for their approval. Mr. Lubin left the meeting at the conclusion of this
item.
' 2. General Public Information activities. Mr. Robinson reported on ongoing activities
including the scheduling of a public facilities tour in August, publication of the Summer 1994
edition of the "Waterlines" newsletter, media relations and District's participation the
upcoming Yorba Linda Fiesta Days event.
