' SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting
' The Public Information Committee met on August 15, 1994. Directors Mike Beverage, Carl
Scanlin, General Manager Bill Robertson, Public Information Officer Mike Robinson and
Executive Assistant to the General Manager Roger Lubin were present. The following issues were
t discussed:
1. Public relations consultant interviews. Laer Pearce and Associates, represented by
' Laer Pearce and Al Tello; and Olson Communications, represented by Merry Lee Olson,
Brian Butler and Eileen Haag made presentations and were interviewed. The Committee will
make a recommendation for consideration by the Board of Directors as to the engagement of
' a public relations consultant to develop a long term strategy to optimize the District's visibility
in the community.
2. Review correspondence in response to a customer complaint. The committee
' discussed the concerns of Mr. Richard LoDolce of 3740 Forest Glen Road in Yorba Linda
and reviewed a draft letter of response.
' 3. Report on Partnership 2010/Rose Institute study regarding special district
questionnaire. Mr. Robertson reported the District will not fill out the Rose Institute
special district questionnaire.
