SUBJECT: Summary Minutes of Finance - Accounting Committee Meeting
On January 24, 1994, the Finance - Accounting Committee held a meeting. Present were Arthur
C. Korn, Sterling Fox, William Robertson, and Beverly Meza. The following items were
discussed at the meeting.
1. Financial Affects relative to the Orange County Commingled Pool
Bankruptcy. Mr. Robertson and Ms. Meza reviewed the financial affects to the District from
the bankruptcy of the Orange County Commingled Pool. They also presented a report on future
affects that the District might experience. The committee discussed this matter and offered
advice to the staff.
2. Policy Changes regarding the Transfer of Funds. Ms. Meza presented a report
on the status of the policy for transferring funds via wire transfer for specfic investments or
payables. The committee asked several questions and offered advice to the staff. An Agenda
Report on this matter is presented for action within this agenda package.
