AN ORDINANCE OF THE YORBA LINDA
COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ORDERING
THE INCLUSION WITHIN THE DISTRICT
OF LANDS OWNED BY THE DISTRICT,
DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 64-1
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District as follows:
WHEREAS, the Yorba Linda County Water District now owns the
lands described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, such lands are entirely within the County of Orange,
State of California; and
WHEREAS, approval for the annexation has been obtained from
all appropriate governmental agencies,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District hereby:
1. Finds and determines that the inclusion of such lands
within the Yorba Linda County Water District will be of the best
interests of such District; and
2. Hereby orders the inclusion within the Yorba Linda
County Water District of all those lands situated in the County
of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as
follows:
A parcel of land in Section 16, Township 3
South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. and M., in the County
of Orange, State of California, said parcel of
land being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a 4 inch iron pipe shown on a Map
recorded in Book 33, page 37, of Record of Surveys,
in the office of the Recorder of said County of
orange, as having been set by Hillyard and found to
be located North 2.48 feet and East 1.14 feet from
the true position of the Northeast corner of Section
15, of T. 3 S., R. 9 W., S.B.B. & M.; thence North
89° 41' 17" West 5275.24 feet to a 4 inch iron pipe
shown on said map as having been set by Hillyard and
found to be located South 2.65 feet and East 3.16
feet from the true position of the Northeast corner
of said Section 16; thence South 26° 11' 13" East
1851.78 feet to the Northeasterly corner of that
parcel of land as shown on said Map recorded in

Book 33, page 37, of said Record of Surveys, and
more particularly described in Book 5616, Page 73,
of said records of Orange County, said Northeasterly
corner of said parcel of land being distant South
69° 52' 55" West 4747.64 feet from said 4 inch iron
pipe found to be located North 2.48 feet and East
1.14 feet from the true position of said Northeast
corner of Section 15; thence along the northerly and
westerly property lines of said parcel North 72 58'
21" West 1991.53 feet, South 60° 59' 01" West 1338.89
feet, South 21° 21' 53" West 1120.00 feet to the
intersection of the Southerly line of the Metropoli-
tan Water District's 50-foot wide permanent easement
with a line which is at right angles to the center
line of said easement at a point on said centerline
distant Westerly 725.72 feet from the Easterly
terminus of that certain course in said center line
described in Deed to the Metropolitan Water District
of Southern California recorded in Book 4208, page
424, of Official Records, in the office of said
Recorder, as having a bearing and distance of North
84° 40' 46" West 966.34 feet; thence Easterly along
said Southerly property line of said parcel South
84° 40' 46" East 709.44 feet more or less to the
first change in direction of said Southerly property
line; thence South 48° 36' 42" East 45.00 feet along
the new course of said Southerly Property line of
said parcel to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Thence S. 41° 23' 18" W., 450 feet • thence S. 48°
36' 42" E., 480 feet; thence N. 41a 23' 18" E., 450
feet to said Southerly property line; thence N.
48° 36' 42" W., 480 feet along said southerly property
line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: the bearing of
S. 48° 36' 42" E., as shown for the portion of said
southerly property line of said parcel as shown on
said Record of Survey being the basis of bearings.
Containing 4.96 acres, more or less.
The above described property was purchased by the
Yorba Linda County Water District for the purpose
of site for water reservoir. The deed does not trans-
fer the rights to any minerals, oil, gas, petroleum
or other hydro-carbon substances.
ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County
Water District, Orange County, State of California, at its regular
meeting held on September 23, 1964

Pursuant to Section 32401 of the
Water Code of the State of California
We, the undersigned, President and Secretary, respectively,
of the YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, do hereby certify that
the attached Ordinance No. 5, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE
YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ORDERING THE INCLUSION WITHIN
THE DISTRICT OF LANDS OWNED BY THE DISTRICT, DESIGNATED
ANNEXATION N0. 64-1", was duly passed and adopted by the Board
of Directors of said District on September 23, 1964.
We do further certify that pursuant to Section 32401 of the
Water Code of California, said Ordinance became effective on
October 24, 1964.
