ORDINANCE NO. 6
AN ORDINANCE OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY
WATER DISTRICT APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY,
DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION NO. 65-1", TO
THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County Water District as follows:
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of April, 1965, the Board of
Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District did pass
and adopt Resolution No. 124 giving notice of the proposal
to annex certain uninhabited territory to the Yorba Linda
County Water District, said territory being therein desig-
nated as "Annexation No. 65-1", said Resolution describing
the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 124 did contain a notice
of the day, hour and place when and where the Board of
Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District would
hear protests made by any person owning property within the
property proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing
being not less than 20 nor more than 40 days from the date
of passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 26th day of May, 1965, at the hQur
of 10:00 o'clock A.M., in the office of the District, 4866
South Olinda Street,Yorba Linda, California, said time and
place being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution
No.124 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said
Board of Directors did hear and pass upon all protests made
to the proposed annexation and diddetermine that protests had
not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the
privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by

the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners
of one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory
proposed to be annexed as determined by said legislative
body; and that no protests had been filed; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the Yorba
Linda County Water District and is uninhabited territory
in the County of Orange;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said Board of Directors of the
Yorba Linda County Water District does hereby approve the
annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the
Yorba Linda County Water District, and does hereby further
ordain that the said -territory be and is hereby annexed to
the Yorba Linda County Water District.
That said territory, the annexation of which to the ,
Yorba Linda County Water District is herein approved, is
all that territory situate in the County of Orange, State
of California, more particularly described as follows:
All that real property in the County of Orange, State
of California, being that portion of the first class
lands allotted to R. Rivas and V. Yorba, described in
the Final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Canon de
Santa Ana, a certified copy of which was recorded
February 8, 1874, in Book 28, Page 158 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows
Beginning at the point on the Northerly line of said
first class land of R. Rivas, distant South 75° 49'
14" West along said Northerly line, 31.99 feet from
the most Northerly corner of said land, said point
being on the Southerly line of the Yorba Linda Tract,
per map thereof recorded in Book 5, Pages 17 and 18
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, and
on the existing Southerly boundary of the Yorba Linda
County Water District, said point being also the most
Northerly corner of the land condemned for the use of
the Placentia Unified School District of Orange
County, California, by the Final Orders of Condemnation
in Case #105393 in the Superior Court of the State of
California in and for Orange County, copies of said
Final Orders being recorded in Book 6460, Page 200,
and in Book 6514, Page 183 of Official Records, records
of said Orange County; thence, along said southerly

boundary of the Yorba Linda County Water District,
and alon~ the Northerly line of said condemned land,
South 75 49' 14" West 605.66 feet; thence, leaving
said Southerly boundary, and continuing along the
lines of said condemned land, South 5° 34' 21" West
595.53 feet, South 84° 25' 39" East 641.79 feet,
and North 10° 29' 30" East 98.87 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave Westerly and
having a radius of 960.00 feet; thence Northerly,
along said curve through a central angle of 21° 39'
1011, a distance of 362.80 feet to a reversed curve
concave Easterly and having a radius of 1040.00 feet;
thence Northerly, along said reversed curve, through
a central angle of 19° 07' 59", a distance of 347.29
feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 10.00 acres, more or less.
That said Board further finds and determines that the pro-
ceedings comply with the law, that the inclusion is'authorized
by law, and that the inclusion will be for the best interest
of the District and the land.
Adopted by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District, Orange County, State of California,
at its regular meeting held on May 26, 1965.
