HomeMy WebLinkAbout1988-11-22 - Ordinance No. 88-03• ORDINANCE NO. 88-03 40 AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING SEWER DEVELOPMENT PROCESSING FEES WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 41, 42, 60, 79, 89 and 90 initially set forth sewer development related fees beginning in January 1962; and, WHEREAS, the sewer development processing fees were last changed in November 1963; and, WHEREAS, a study of the sewer rules, regulations and sewer development processing fees was conducted and said study concluded that the existing sewer development processing fees should be revised to reflect the current cost of providing said services; and, WHEREAS, the public and interested parties were notified of the public hearing to consider changes in sewer development processing fees fourteen (14) days prior to their adoption; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Directors further desires to adopt a set of new sewer development processing fees to finance costs necessitated by new development within the District's service area; and, WHEREAS, the fees collected pursuant to this Ordinance, shall be used to finance costs necessitated by new development within the District. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District to adopt sewer development processing fees as follows: Section I: ADMINISTRATIVE FEE. An Administrative Fee shall be imposed on a per job basis for each application for service. The Administrative Fee shall be $384.00 per application. Section 2: PLAN CHECK FEE. A Plan Check Fee shall be imposed on a per connection basis for each service connection identified in the application for service. The Plan Check Fee shall be determined as follows: Number of Fee Per 1-10 23.00 11 - 20 12.00 21 - 30 9.00 31 - 40 8.00 41 - 50 6.00 51 and up 5.00 • • Section 3: INSPECTION FEE. A Inspection Fee shall be imposed on a per connection basis for each service connection identified in the application for service.. The Inspection Fee shall be determined as follows: Number of Fee Per 1-10 $218.00 11 - 20 121.00 21 - 30 81.00 31 - 40 50.00 41 - 50 38.00 51 and up 26.00 Section 4: RECORDS AND BILLING FEE. A Records and Billing Fee shall be imposed on a per connection basis for each service connection identified in the application for service. The Records and Billing Fee shall be $56.00 per connection. Section 5: SINGLE SERVICE FEE. A single service fee shall be imposed on a service connection, to a single lot where the main line already exists and where, in the District's judgment, it is not necessary to process an application for service. The Single Service Fee shall be $179.00. Section 6: That all conflicting Resolutions and Ordinances are hereby recinded.
