Subject: MWDOC/YLWD Joint Truck Magnets - Conservation
SUMMARY:
MWDOC has offered truck magenets to it's member agencies free of charge as long as the
MWDOC logo remains on the magnet. Staff is presenting a total of 6 designs for the committee to
consider. These magnets can be customized within any design to display the District's corrected
logo, as well as the website and phone number of YLWD. Currently, MWDOC has included it's own
information on the magnet designs in order to show a "mock up" of what the completed design
would look like. Additionally, the conservation tips can be changed to reflect our current ordinance
stage restrictions. There is no limit on the number of magnets that can be ordered and MWDOC is
planning to complete the order by the end of June with an expected delivery date to the agencies
with 6 weeks.

Subject: Orange County Clerk-Recorder's Office Bill Insert
SUMMARY:
The Orange County Clerk-Recorder's Office has opened a new branch in Fullerton to serve North
Orange County residents and has requested that all public agencies include a bill insert to inform
their residents of the new office. The Clerk-Recorder's Office will be paying the fee to insert their
notice directly to InfoSend and this fee payment will also cover any bill inserts YLWD wishes to
include during the same time period for free. The announcement is not time-sensitive and staff has
currently directed InfoSend to begin sending the announcement out in the July billing, with it
inserted behind our 2009 Consumer Confidence Report.
