June 16, 1969
A special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District was called to order by President Wagner
at 2:00 p.m. June 16, 1969 in the offices of the District.
Directors present and answering the roll: Wagner, Clodt, Hastings
McGuirre and Knauft .
President Wagner turned the meeting over to General Manager Shook.
Job 556 Tract 4715 Standard Pacific Corp. - tract in the City of
Placentia. Exhibits reviewed for water service, discussion re-
garding sewer service and availability. Moved by Director Knauft
seconded by Director Clodt carried unanimously to approve staff
recommendations for water service. No request on sewer at this
time, if problems develop with Placentia then District would con-
sider methods for sewer service.
General Mana er asked for authorization to write a purchase
order up to 5500.00 if needed to replace or rewind the motor
for Plant # 2 motor # 3. Moved by Director Clodt, seconded by
Director Hastings granting above authorization for pump repair.
Motion carried unanimously.
Mike McCormick and H. Rodger Howell attorneys for the District
came into the meeting at this time. Executive session declared
by President Wagner.
Matter to be discussed Locke Ranch Sewer Litigation - settlement
price to be paid for line, conditions, Court hearing set for
June 27, hopeful that settlement will be made before that time.
Compromise letter approved on motion of Director Knauft, second-
ed by Director Clodt carried unanimously.
Moved by Director McGuire seconded by Director Hastings carried
unanimously to adjourn to June 25, 1969 at 8:30 a.m.
