General Manager Shook called to the Directors attention the letters,
copies of which were attached to their agenda. The first a letter
from Lowry and Associates regarding the annexation of Shell Oil Co.
property to Sanitation District # 2. General Manager had set up an

M.W.D. and the subsequent raise in the customers water bill, and
penalties for late payment of the water bill for their information.
General Manager Shook reported that he had attended the Orange County
Municipal Water District meeting on June 21, 1967 and that there
were several people in attendance at the meeting. A report was given
on the 2000 acre ft. reservoir investigation with no material change
from report given the directors at the last meeting. It was also
mentioned that the O.C.M.W.D. would be levying no tax rate for the
167-168 year. O.C.M.W.D. is also working on a Publix Relations
program and several suggestions were given. The Manager reported
the meeting was very interesting and informative and that he thought
it would be a good idea for our directors to attend when ever possible.
General Manager Shook reported that Hughes Aircraft had signed for
the connection at O.C. 51 and would be receiving service from the
District very shortly.
Report on S-440 - still working on easements and routes but no
further progress to report at this time.
S-145 application and agreemert all in and signed and money to come
through the escrow. Two easements needed and after contacting the
Orange County Flood Control District they had suggested a permit
instead of an easement. Attorney Erickson stated that in most
cases the permit would be acceptable instead of an easement. General
Manager Shook requested permission to advertise for bids for the
construction of S-145 Trunk. Moved by Director McGuire, seconded
by Director Hastings carried unanimously to grant General Manager
permission to advertise for bids as soon as the money has been re-
ceived from escrow.

garding one more house being built but still no refund on the
fire hydrant. This again is a house being built on a lot with
an existing meter.

the assignment because it had been made only by Barnett and
the refund was to be a joint refund with Stephen Bradford so
District would have to have a properly executed-document signed
by the two persons involved stating the division of the joint
interest in the refund agreement. Mr. Korn to so inform the parties
involved.
