October 27, 1964
An adjourned meeting of the Yorba Linda County Water District was
convened at the office of the District by President Wagner at 8:30
A.M. on the 27th day of October, 1964. Directors present were Wagner
Hastings, Clodt and McGuire. Director Milmoe was absent. Also
present was H. Rodger Howell attorney for the District.
Mr. Shook announced that he had more information available regarding
the N.R.A. Convention at-Palm Springs on November 10 to 13, 1964.
Job 270 M.W.D. Connection was discussed and letters from M,W.D,
and Orange County Municipal were read. After thorough discussion
a motion was made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director Clodt
and unanimously carried that Resolution No. 118 be adopted as follows;
Resolution No. 118
Resolved:. That the proper officers be authorized to execute an
agreement with Orange County Municipal Water District and Metropolitan
Water District for construction of a connection, that James Montgomery
Inc., be authorized to design flow controls for the job and that the
required deposit of $43,000.00 be tendered Orange County Municipal
Water District.
The hour of 9:00 A.M. having arrived bids for A.C. Pipe for-the
ensuing year were opened with the following results:

A motion was made by Director Hastings, seconded by Director McGuire
- and carried that the bids be referred to staff for a thorough check
of materials and prices and an answer returned at the meeting to be
held November 10, 1964.

A letter was read from Bradford and Spence requesting an emergency
water service for a parcel of land of approximately 30 acres
between Jefferson and Van Buren formerly known as the Blattner
Ranch EXCEPTING the Van Buren School Site. After disdussion a
motion was made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director Hastings
and carried that temporary service for irrigation only under
a contract be agreed upon for a period of one year.

" A request for a temporary water service was received'ftom the
East Orange County Little League for a 6 acre parcel of land on
Valley View, North of Yorba Linda Blvd. A motion was made by
Director McGuire seconded by Director Clodt and carried that a
contract for temporary service be entered into for this temporary
service for one year only for irrigation only.
On a motion made byDirector Clodt, seconded by Director Hastings
and carried audited bills against the District were approved as
follows: Accounta Payable $20,235.03

Pursuant to the rules and regulations the proposed sewer service
facilities as shown on Exhibit No. "A and B" were examined.
It was moved by Director C1odt, seconded by Director McGuitz and
carried that the application for service be approved and that the
property is within drainage area "C" that the service charge shall
be at,the rate of $350.00 per acre, and that there shall be no refund
agreement.
Job S-19-250 - Pursuant to the rules and regulations the proposed
sewer service facilities as shown on Exhi.bit:No. "A and B" were
examined. It was moved by Director McGuire seconded by Director
Hastings and carried that the application for service be approved
and that the property is within drainage area "C", that the service
charge shall be at the rate of $350.00 per acre and that there shall
be no refund agreement.
Job S-7-371 - Pursuant to the rules and regulations the proposed
sewer service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. "A and B" were
examined. It was moved by Director Hastings, seconded by Director
Clodt and carried that the application for service be approved
and that the property is within drainage area RA "C", that the service
charge shall be at the-rate of $350.00 per acre, that there shall be
no refund agreement.
Job 364 - Pursuant to Section 7.6 of the rules and regulations the
proposed water service facilities as shown on Exhibit No. "A"
were examined. It was moved byDirector McGuire, seconded by Director

Hastings and carried that the proposed facilities be approved as
conforming to the rules and regulations with no exceptions( the
installation of a 111 meter and a fire hydrant).
Job S-358 - A motion was made by Director C1odt, seconded by Director
Hastings and carried that the properofficers be authorized to approve
and execute an application and agreement for this job.
Nor. Shook reported on a meeting with officials of the City of
Anaheim for further discussion and agreement on the proper agencies
to service sewer lines in areas'where both agencies have jurisdiction.
A motion by Director McGuire, seconded by Director Clodt and carried
stated that all District Directors are hereby authorized to leave
the State of California for either business or personal reasons
between this meeting and the next regular meeting of the Board of
Directors.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned on a motion
by Director Hastings, seconded by Director McGuire, to Nove er 10,
1964 at the hour of 8:30 A.M.
