The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County.Water District was called to order at the offie e
of the District on February 8, 1961 at the hour of 8:30 A.M.
by President Crist.
Directors present and answering the roll were:-Crist, Wagne:'
Hastings and Clodt. Director Milmoe was absent. Also present
was Attorney H. Rodger Howell.
On a motion by Director Wagner, seconded by Director Clodt n
and duly carried that the minutes of the meetings held Jan.
11, 27, 1961 be approved as mailed. 5
The finance committee reported tht they had received audited
and approved bills against the District in the amount of $84,901.87.
A motion was made by Director Clodt, seconded by Director
Hastings and unanimously carried that the audited bills be paid.
The Secretary read a communiction from C.P.S. announcing an
increase in rates.
The Secretary informed the Board that the lst payment of interest
on the Water Bonds was due and payable March 1, 1961 and that
it would be necessary to transfer 34,3,'~5'.5W from the General
Fund to the Bond Interest and Redemption fund to provide the
necessary reserves. A motion was made by Director hastings,
seconded by Director Wagner. and unanimously carried that the
necessary funds be transferred.
Mr. Dueker explained a mhange in design of water mains in Tract
4032 (Citrus Ave). It was generally agreed that the change was
acceptable provided the anal&±x±xfx subdivider paid costs of all
installations necessry to reach the nearest main of the Distroct.
A discussion was held concerning the abondonment of approxi-
mately 800' of 6" and 4" main in Lots 8 & 9 of Block 20 and
the replacement of same with 6" main running westerly from
Highland Ave. A motion was made by Director Clodt, seconded
by Director Hastings and carried thatthe replacement be made
and that the District make all necessary relocations of
services and service lines.
After discussion a motion was made by Director Hastings,
seconded by Director Wagner and unanimously carried that
the Yorba Linda County Water District intends to equalize as
much as possible cost of off-site sanitary sewer extensions
and agrees tkt that some form of reimbursement will be entered
into with builders of approved extensions that will return to
them, all or a portion of such costs when others make conn-
ection within ten years after construction.

General Manager gave a brief report on water production
for 1960 and on the progress of construction projects.
There being no further business a motion was made by
Director Wagner, seconded by Director Hastings and
carried that the meeting be adjournec,to February- 20, 1961
at 8:30 A.M. ,r
