RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING
THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM
WAGE AND THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE FOR
LEGAL HOLIDAY AND OVERTIME WORK IN SAID
DISTRICT FOR CERTAIN CRAFTS OR TYPES OF
WORKMEN AND APPROVING A PROVISION FOR
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
Assessment District No. 72-1
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has by its Resolution
No. 225 ordered certain work or improvement, said work or
improvement being more particularly described in its Resolu-
tion of Intention, Resolution No. 221; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Directors has ascertained the
general prevailing rate of per diem wages (including employer
payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation and similar
purposes) in the locality in which said work is to be performed
in each craft or type of workman needed to execute the contract
for said work, and this Board of Directors has ascertained the
general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work in
said locality for each craft or type of workman needed to execute
said contract; and
WHEREAS, the specification for said work described in
Resolution No. 225 provides for liquidated damages;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime

work in the locality in which said work is to be performed
for each craft or type of workman needed to execute the con-
tract for said work is determined to be as set forth in
Resolution No. 186 of this Board of Directors.

gQ,,TI~ON 2. Said general prevailing rates shall be
referred to in the call for bids for said contract and in the
contract itself.
SECTION 3. That the provision for liquidated damages
as set forth in the specifications for the work entitled
"Specifications Sewer Assessment District 72-1, Yorba Linda
County Water District" is hereby approved.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of June,
1972.
