"DRAFT" MINUTES OF THE YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING June 29, 2000 The June 29, 2000, Adjourned Regular Meeting of the Yorba Linda Water District Board of Directors was called to order by President Michael J. Beverage at 8:30 a.m. The meeting was held at District Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda. ROLL CALL Directors present at Roll Call: Staff present: President Michael J. Beverage William J. Robertson, Secretary/General Manager Vice President Paul R. Armstrong Michael Payne, Assistant General Manager Mark Abramowitz Brett Barbre Arthur C. Kom Directors absent at Roll Call: None Visitors: None BOARD OF DIRECTORS WORKSHOP Item 1. Consider consultant agreement and the Facility, Finance, Design and Construction Agreement for the design of the Pulte Reservoir and Booster Station/Flow Control Facility. General Manager Robertson requested continuance of this matter to the July 6, meeting. Discussion about adding the Special District Selection Committee meeting to this Agenda. No Director is able to attend the meeting so no action was taken to place the matter on the Agenda. Item 2. Discussion of Personnel Related issues. The Board of Directors held a lengthy discussion of salary survey policies and job classifications. No action was taken. The Board of Directors requested written recommendations for the July 6 workshop. General Manager Robertson replied that he could not develop a complete packet of written materials in time for July 6, meeting. Discussion. The consensus was have written materials in advance of the meeting and thus the July 6, workshop was deferred to Thursday, July 20, 2000, at 8:30 a.m. The Pulte Agreement issue was continued to the July 13, Board of Directors Regular meeting. ADJOURNMENT On a motion by Director Abramowitz, seconded by Director Barbre, the Board of Directors voted 5-0, at 12:15 p.m. to adjourn the meeting. The next Regular meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled for Thursday, July 13, 2000, at 8:30 a.m. at the District Headquarters.
