Home My WebLink About1976-10-14 - Resolution No. 76-20a . 4 RESOLUTION NO. 76-20 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT DETERMINING AND ORDER- ING DETACHMENT NO. 76-1 FROM THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY DISTRICT WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 75-27, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District made application to the Local Agency Formation Commission for approval of a proposal for detachment from the Yorba Linda County Water District of the territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, on April 14, 1976 by Resolution No. 76-47 the Local Agency Formation Commission approved said proposal for detach- ment, assigned to said detachment the designation of "Detach- ment No. 76-1 from the Yorba Linda County Water District," designated Yorba Linda County Water District as the conducting district and directed said District to initiate proceedings in compliance with said resolution; and WHEREAS, on October 14, 1976 the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District held a Public Hearing on the proposed detachment; WHEREAS, notice has been given as required by law and no protests have been filed; and WHEREAS, the territory being considered for detachment is now being served by the City of Anaheim with water and sewer service, and the District has no such facilities in said territory and does not contemplate that they will ever be constructed by the District in the future; NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District does hereby resolve, order, and determine as follows: Section 1: Notice has been given as provided by law and no protests have been filed with the Yorba Linda County Water District. Section 2: Pursuant to Government Code Section 56319 and the authorization of the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County as set forth in its Resolution No. 76-47, the territory described in exhibit "A" attached hereto shall be, and hereby is, detached from the Yorba Linda County Water District. Section 3: The Secretary is authorized and directed to make the filings provided for in Government Code Sections 56450, et seq., and 54900, et seq. Adopted by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District at its regular meeting on October 14, 1976.
