RESOLUTION NO. 77-26
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA
LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT PROPOSING ANNEXATION
NO. 77-6 TO THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
Pursuant to Government Code No. 56195
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Countv Water District
has determined that annexation to said District of the territory
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, (hereinafter referred to as
Annexation 77-6 to the Yorba Linda County Water District) and by this
reference incorporated herein, is to the best interest of said District
and that the lands within said territory will be benefited thereby; and
WHEREAS, Subdivision construction pursuant to City of Yorba Linda approval
is contemplated within said territory and the need for water service is
imminent; and
WHEREAS, said territory is uninhabited, as defined in Government Code
Section 56074, and all of the landowners as defined in Government Code
Section 56046, have requested the proposed annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water
District does hereby resolve as follows;
SECTION 1: Pursuant to the District Reorganization Act of 1965, Division
I, Title 6, of the Government Code of the State of California, the Board
of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District does hereby make ap-
plication to the Local Agency Formation Commission for approval of the
Annexation No. 77-6 to the Yorba Linda County Water District.
SECTION 2: The territory to be annexed by Annexation No. 77-6 is uninhabit-
ed and all of the landowners therein have requested and consented to the
annexation.
SECTION 3: The reason for said proposal of annexation is that the land-
owners have requested water service within said territory.
SECTION 4: The Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District
does hereby request that proceedings be taken for said annexation as pro-
vided for in the District Reorganization Act. The owners of said territory
have requested and consented to said annexation. The Board of Directors
of the Yorba Linda County Water District hereby requests the Local Agency
Formation Commission approve the proposal for annexation herein without
notice and hearing and authorize the Board of Directors of said Yorba Linda
County Water District to annex said territory without notice and hearing
and without an election as provided in Government Code Sections 56260 and
56261.
SECTION 5: The Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District
requests that the Local Agency Formation Commission approve this applic-
ation, denominate the proposed annexation, "Annexation No. 77-6 to the Yorba
Linda County Water District",
SECTION 6: The Secretary of the Yorba Linda County Water District is hereby
authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the
Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County
and to fully cooperate with and assist the owners of the territory in pro-
cessing this annexation proposal.

PROPOSED ANNEXATION NO. 77-- 6
TO YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT
Those portions of the Vicente Yorba Allotment and the Prudencia Yorba
Allotment, as described in the final Decree of Partition of the Rancho Canon
de Santa Ana, a certified copy of which was recorded February 8, 1874 in
Book 28, Page 158 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary of the Yorba Linda County Water
District as established by Annexation No. 77-2, said angle point being the
Northerly terminus of that certain course in the Easterly boundary of said
annexation as having a bearing of North 10 02' 42" West and a length of
5062.63 feet; thence along the boundary of said Annexation 77-2, South
10 02' 42" East, 5062.63 feet and South 00 58' 58" East, 4160.82 feet to an
angle point in the boundary of said Annexation No. 77-2 said point being in
the Northwesterly line of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad right-
of-way (100 feet wide), said Northwesterly line being the arc of a non-tangent
curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 3869.83 feet, a radial line
of said curve bears North 460 25' 42" West through said point; thence leaving
said District boundary Northeasterly along said Northwesterly right-of-way
line through a central angle of 130 33' 5811, an are distance of 913.20 feet to
the Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Annexation No. 77-4 to said
District; thence Northerly and Easterly along said prolongation and boundary
as established by said Annexation No. 77-4 to the boundary as established by
Annexation No. 77-3; thence leaving the boundary as established by said
Annexation No. 77-3; along the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line
of said Annexation No. 3, North 00 56' 05" West, 7217.06 feet to the Northerly
line of said Rancho Canon de Santa Ana; thence along said Northerly line
North 890 43' 22" West, 1496.72 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 282.489 acres more or less.
