HomeMy WebLinkAbout1977-11-02 - Resolution No. 77-320 4; 0 0 RESOLUTIO'•' '!0. 77-32 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YOR M LINDA COUNTY 14ATER DISTRICT REGARDING PARTICIPATION IN THE FIESTA DAYS PA'ZADE WHEREAS, the Yorba Linda County Water District is desirous of establishing a good rapport with the community that it serves, and the import- ance of improving its image in accomplishing this goal, and WHEREAS, the Yorba Linda County !dater District has for some time been advocating conservation of our natural resources ie i,:ater, power and the importance of public awareness thereof, and WHEREAS, the District wishes to be identified with good service,friendly customer relations, and realizes the ir.iportarice of ewployee participation in accomplishing these goals, and UHIEREAS, THE District acknowledges the results of a good conservation and public awareness program as evidenced by a recent 21 cut back in water use during the surwrer, WHEREAS, the Water District float in the Fiesta Days Parade riet with overwhelming acceptance; the Board of Directors wishes to reconnize the accomplishments of those employees responsible for preparation of such a successful entry. 110.-1, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District congratulates and commends the staff for the entry in the Fiesta Days Parade, for the message on conservation, the innovative manner in which it was presented, and the outstanding manner in which it was received. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following people be recognized for their contribution in preparation and participation in the parade entry and the parade, Mike Payne, Chairman, Richard Davalos, Earl Hamanaka, Irene Lycett, and Albin Kennon and Ray Harsma.
