RESOLUTION NO. 78-32
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT,
COUNTY OF ORANGE, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO PERMIT
REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO
RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE DIS-
TRICT RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A
SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID
DISTRICT ON JUNE 13, 1978
Imprpvement District no. 2
WHEREAS, a special election is to be held in Improve-
ment District No. 2 of the Yorba Linda County Water Dis-
trict, on June 13, 1978; and
WHEREAS, in the course of said election and in relation
thereto, it will be necessary to mail sample ballots, appli-
cation blanks for absent voting, statement that there will
be no polling place, arguments and tax statement to the re-
gistered voters within said improvement district, to print
such documents and insert the above mentioned documents into
envelopes with the names and addresses of the registered
voters-of said Improvement District thereon and to place all
envelopes in zip-coded mail bags, advise the Secretary of
the District of the number of pieces to be mailed, prepare
POD Form 3602, "Statement of Mailing Matter with Permit
Imprints", and advise the Secretary of the District when
work is complete so delivery can be arranged; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expenses in performing this ser-
vice shall be paid by said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of YORBA LINDA
COU14TY WATER DISTRICT does hereby resolve, determine and
order as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Section
22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California, this

Board of Directors hereby requests the Board of Supervisors
of said County to permit the Registrar of Voters to prepare
and furnish to said District for use in conducting said
election to be held on June 13, 1978, the sample ballots,
application blanks for absent voting, statement that there
will be no polling place, arguments and tax statement, and
to imprint the names and addresses of the registered voters
of said Improvement District on envelopes and place all en-
velopes in zip-coded mail bags, advise the Secretary of the
District of the number of pieces to be mailed, prepare
POD Form 3602, "Statement of Mailing Matter with Permit
Imprints", and advise the Secretary of the District when
work is complete so delivery can be arranged.
SECTION 2. That said District shall reimburse said
County for services performed when the work is completed
and upon presentation to the District of a properly approved
bill.
SECTION 3. That the Secretary is hereby directed to
forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors and to
said Registrar of Voters each, a certified copy of this
resolution.
