RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT APPROVING
DE LOS REYES RESERVOIR AND PUDIP STATION
WHEREAS, the Yorba Linda County Water District
("District" herein) is empowered by the County Water District
Act (Division 12, California Water Code, Sections 30000, et seq.)
to construct works useful or necessary to convey, supply, store
or otherwise make use of water for any purpose within the
District; and
WHEREAS, certain facilities for the conveyance, supply
and storage of water are necessary to serve water within a newly
developing portion of the District; and
WHEREAS, the District staff has recommended the location
and construction of the De Los Reyes Reservoir and Pump Station
project. The staff has completed an Initial Study and, follow-
ing an appropriate review period, has filed a Negative Decla-
ration with respect to the De Los Reyes Reservoir and Pump
Station project all in accordance with the California Environ-
mental Quality Act and the rules and regulations adopted by the
Yorba Linda County Water District pursuant thereto. The staff
has also requested review of the proposed project by the City of
Yorba Linda to determine the project's consistency with the
City's adopted general plan; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has reviewed the staff
actions and recommendations and discussed the same in open
public meetings, after providing interested persons an oppor-
tunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda County Water District does hereby find and resolve as
follows:
Section 1. The Negative Declaration prepared and filed
by the staff with respect to the De Los Reyes Reservoir and
Pump Station project is hereby ratified and approved.
Section 2. The proposed De Los Reyes Reservoir and Pump
Station project is hereby approved in concept and the District
General Manager, staff and consultants are hereby authorized
and directed to take all steps necessary and appropriate to
implement the project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the
Yorba Linda County Water District at a regular meeting held
on the 22nd day of February, 1979.
