RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT SETTING
HEARING FOR ANNEXATION NO. 78-7 TO
YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 56310
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 78-54, the Board of Directors of
the Yorba Linda County Water District made application to the
Local Agency Formation Commission for approval of a proposal
for annexation to the Yorba Linda County Water District of the
territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, on January 24, 1979, by Resolution No. 79-15, the
Local Agency Formation Commission approved said proposal for
annexation, assigned to said annexation the designation of
"Annexation No. 78-7 to the Yorba Linda County Water District,"
designated Yorba Linda County Water District as the conducting
District, directed said District to initiate proceedings in
compliance with said resolutions and authorized proceedings to
annex said territory; and
WHEREAS, said territory is uninhabited and annexation has been
requested by the owners of a majority of the land within such
territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda
County Water District does hereby resolve, order, and determine
as follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to Government Code Section 56310 and the
authorization of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
Orange County as set forth in its Resolution No. 79-15, a public
hearing on proposed Annexation No. 78-7 to the Yorba Linda County
Water District is set for May 24, 1979, at 10:00 a.m. in the
Yorba Linda County Water District Board of Directors meeting
room at 4622 Plumosa Drive, Yorba Linda, California.
Section 2: The Secretary shall cause notice of said hearing to
be published and posted in accordance with Government Code
Sections 56311 and 56312.
Section 3: In addition, the Secretary shall cause a copy of
this resolution to be mailed to each landowner within the
territory proposed to be annexed.

Section 4: Any interested person desiring to protest said
annexation shall do so by written communication filed with
the Secretary of the Yorba Linda'County Water District not
later than the hour set for the public hearing herein. A
written protest by a landowner shall contain a description
sufficient to identify the land owned by him; a protest by
a voter shall contain the residential address of such voter.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of
Directors held on April 12 , 1979.

Beginning at the Westerly terminus of that certain course described
as having a bearing of South 870 54' 37" East, and a distance of 787.19
feet in Annexation 78-1 to the Yorba Linda County Water District, per
Resolution No.-78-20 of the Board of Directors of said district, said point
being on the Northerly boundary of Exception C in said annexation; thence,
following along said annexation boundary as described in said exception C
in a general Easterly, Southerly, Northwesterly and Northerly, Easterly,
Northerly, Westerly and Northwesterly direction to a point in the
Easterly line of the Yorba Linda County Water District as created by
Annexation No. 78-3; thence leaving the boundary of said Annexation No.
78-1 and going Northerly along said Easterly line of Annexation No. 78-3
and continuing along the boundary of said exception C to the point of
beginning.
The above described parcel contains 76 acres more or less.
