HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-03-13 - Resolution No. 80-01I RESOLUTION NO. 80-1 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT WITH REGARD TO SEWER SERVICE AND FRONTAGE CHARGES FOR THE YEAR 1980 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 42 provides that the Service Charge and the Frontage Charge for sanitary sewer service shall be fixed and determined by the Board of Directors each year for the ensuing year, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 41 defines the Service Charge (paragraph 1) and the Frontage Charge (paragraph 2); and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 60, 79,89, and 90 further define the Service Charge and Frontage Charge with respect to various drainage areas and types of sanitary service to be provided; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors have made their annual review of those factors which influence the amount of the service charge and the frontage charges, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the rules and regulations of the District with regard to the rendition of the Sanitary Sewer Service are amended to provide as follows: 1. Prior Resolutions setting frontage charges and service charges inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby repealed. 2. The service charges and frontage charges effective immediately for all applic- ations initiated on or after the date of adoption shall be as follows: A.SERVICE CHARGES Base Charge and Charge For parcels less than one Acre Drainage Area Charge Per Acre A. $400.00 B. $1200.00 C. $1000.00 D. $400.00 M. to be determined Esperanza $750.00 Charge for Parcels Larger than one Acre Charge Per Acre $400.00 $1700.00 $1000.00 $400.00 $750.00 B.FRONTAGE CHARGE (a) For all drainage areas and all type of sanitary sewer service $10.50 per front foot but not less than $800.00 per connection. (b) Front footage shall generally be based on the length of that side of parcel to which service connection is made, including distance to the centerline of adjacent cross streets, if any. The above Resolution No. 80-1 was regularly passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District at the regular meeting of said Board of Directors held on the 10th day of January 1980. The amended plan shall supersede the Plan adopted by Resolution No. 74-15 on September 12, 1974 and become effective immediately. 3. The District consents to the participation of any eligible permanent employee of the District, such participation to be in accordance with the participating employee's Participation Agreement.
