Home My WebLink About1984-06-28 - Resolution No. 84-12• • RESOLUTION NO. 84-//o2- RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING A PAY PLAN WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District has on May 8, 1980 adopted the "Yorba Linda county Water District Personnel Rules - May, 1980"; and WHEREAS, the rules direct that a Salary Resolution shall be prepared for approval by the Board of Directors, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to adopt a pay plan for all employees as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda County Water District as follows: Section 1. That the pay plan as more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" for all employees attached hereto be and is approved and adopted. Section 2. That each employee of the District is granted a salary increase of 5.0% of their present salary, effective July 1, 1984. Section 3. That all conflicting resolutions and minute orders are hereby repealed. KORN, Personnel Officer ISSUE: ADOPTION OF SALARY RESOLUTION SUMMARY: • DATE: June 14, 1984 Pursuant to Section 2.1 of the Personnel Rules, which provide for the Personnel Officer to prepare and revise as necessary, a Position Classification System and a Schedule for Compensation, and Section 7.1 which provides for the Board to adopt a Salary Resolution, the Personnel Officer recommends that the Salary Resolution by amended. DISCUSSION: The Salary Resolution adopted by the Board on December 29, 1983 needs to be updated to be consistent with comparable agencies and the Memorandum of Understanding with Yorba Linda County Water District Employees' Association. Specific details of the Salary Resolution were presented to the Board previously and therefore not repeated herewith. RE CONiP,iENDATION: Adopt a Resolution approving the Salary Ranges.
