Armstrong at 8:30 a.m. The meeting was held at District Field Headquarters, 913 Richfield Road, Placentia. DIRECTORS PRESENT AT ROLL CALL Paul R. Armstrong, President Ric Collett, Vice President Michael J. Beverage William R. Mills John W. Summerfield STAFF PRESENT Michael A. Payne, General Manager Kenneth Vecchiarelli, Asst. General Manager Diane Cyganik, Finance Director Lee Cory, Operations Manager Art Vega, Acting Information Tech. Director Gina Knight, Human Resources Manager, INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS AND PUBLIC COMMENTS Michael Payne introduced Gina Knight, the District's new Human Resources Manager. The Board of Directors welcomed Gina. ACTION CALENDAR 1. Board of Directors Goals Workshop. Michael Payne, General Manager began the workshop by outlining the proposed presentation of issues that staff felt needed to be presented, discussed or input from the Board of Directors. Diane Cyganik, Finance Director gave a report on the Finance department major goals for 2006/2007. Kenneth Vecchiarelli, Asst. General Manager followed by outlining the major goals in the Engineering department. Michael Payne reported on the activities that Gina Knight, Human Resources Manager will be working on such as recruitments, the MOU, Employee Performance evaluations, salary ranges and steps. Art Vega, Acting Information Technology Director gave a verbal report on the new telephone system, SCADA, Kenneth Vecchiarelli, Asst. General Manager ADJOURNMENT On a motion by Director Mills, seconded by Director Summerfield, the Board of Directors voted 5-0 to adjourn at 11:04 a.m. to a regular meeting of the Board of Directors scheduled for Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 8:30 a.m., at 4622 Plumosa Drive Yorba Linda, CA. 92886 )~ - ichael A.
