Comments are limited to matters of public interest and matters within the jurisdiction of the Water District.
Comments are limited to five minutes.

3.1. The next meeting of the Citizens Advisory Committee will be held April 23, 2012 at 8:30
a. m.

Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.5, non - exempt public records that relate to open session agenda items
and are distributed to a majority of the Committee less than seventy -two (72) hours prior to the meeting will be available
for public inspection in the lobby of the District's business office located at 1717 E. Miraloma Avenue, Placentia, CA
92870, during regular business hours. When practical, these public records will also be made available on the District's
internet website accessible at http: / /www.ylwd.com /.

SUMMARY:
An emergency response planning overview PowerPoint presentation will be given in the District's
Training room, followed by a tour of the District's Emergency Operations Center (EOC). A question
and answer period will be included on the District's latest emergency operations activites by Harold
Hulbert, the District's emergency operations point of contact, and Mike Hooper, Senior Exercise
Manager with Willdan Homelands Solutions, the District's emergency operations plan consultant.

knowledge of the process.
2. Encourage Registration
— Alert OC is a great tool available to YLWD customers so tell
others about it.
3. Ask Questions
— If something is unclear about what happens in an
emergency, the worst time to ask about it is during a crisis.
Don't wait to ask questions until it is too late.
