RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE
YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT
RETAINING LOCKE RANCH SEWER MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENTS
AS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO 89-02 AND
ELECTING TO HAVE SUCH SEWER MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENTS
COLLECTED ON THE FISCAL YEAR 1990-91 TAX ROLL
WHEREAS, in October 1977 the City of Yorba transferred and conveyed ownership
of the Locke Ranch sewer system to the Yorba Linda Water District
(herein referred to as "District");
WHEREAS, the Locke Ranch sewer system is outside the existing boundaries of the
District; and,
WHEREAS, under authority of the California Health and Safety Code Section 5471
and 5473 the District may levy sewer maintenance assessments on
property located outside of the District boundaries, and may elect to
have the County of Orange Auditor/Controller collect the sewer
maintenance assessment on the County tax bills.
WHEREAS, on August 24, 1989 the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water
District passed and adopted Ordinance No. 89-02 establishing a Sewer
Maintenance Assessment for the Locke Ranch Sewer System of
$23.00 per year per assessor parcel and/or commercial unit; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District has determined
that the fiscal year 1990-91 Sewer Maintenance Assessment to
maintain the Locke Ranch Sewer System shall remain as established
pursuant to Ordinance 89-02.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Yorba
Linda Water District does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
SeclLo 1:, The Yorba Linda Water District Locke Ranch Sewer
Assessments for Fiscal Year 1990-91 shall remain as established
pursuant to Ordinance No. 89-02.
Section 2; The Yorba Linda Water District Locke Ranch Sewer
Maintenance Assessments are hereby fixed in the amounts and against
the assessable parcels of land shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated herein.

.$ec i n . The Board of Directors elects to have the County of
Orange Auditor/Controller collect the assessments fixed herein on the tax
roll in the same manner, by the same persons, and at the same time as
and together with and not separately from, County taxes.
Sects 4:, The General Manager or his designee is authorized
and directed to file with the County of Orange Auditor/Controller a copy of
this Resolution together with the listing of parcel numbers and amounts of
assessments shown in Exhibit "A" and such other documentation as the
County Auditor/Controller may require in order to accomplish the
purposes of this Resolution.
