HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996-08-22 - Resolution No. 96-08• RESOLUTION NO. 96-08 • RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING SEWER DEVELOPMENT AND PROCESSING FEES AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION 95-17 WHEREAS, the Yorba Linda Water District Rules and Regulations for Rendition of Sanitary Sewer Service include a provision that sewer maintenance charge rates, and development fees and charges shall be adopted by separate Resolution entitled Sewer Development and Processing Fees; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District have, from time to time, adopted Ordinances and Resolutions to change the sewer maintenance charge rates and development fees for services provided by the District; and, WHEREAS, the latest Sewer Development and Processing Fees are set forth in Resolution 95-17 adopted on August 24, 1995; and, WHEREAS, the public and interested parties were notified of the public hearing to consider changes in fees fourteen (14) days prior to adoption; and WHEREAS, the fees collected pursuant to this Resolution shall be used to finance costs necessitated by the services provided by the District NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District to adopt Sewer Development and Processing Fees as follows: Section 1: Fees identified in Section 6.01 of the Rules and Regulations for Sewer Service shall be as follows: 6.01 A. Service Charge: Drainage Area 1 $1,675.00 per acre Drainage Area 2 $875.00 per acre B. Frontage Charge: $13.00 per foot but not less than $1,100.00 per connection C. Administrative Fee: $933.00 D. Plan Check Fee: Number of Connections Fee Per Connection 1-10 $50.00 11-20 $27.00 21-30 $19.00 31-40 $18.00 41-50 $13.00 51 and up $10.00 E. Inspection Fee: Number of Connections Fee Per Connection 1-10 $437.00 11-20 $243.00 21-30 $162.00 31-40 $101.00 41-50 $77.00 51 and up $53.00 • • Section 2: Section 10.09 of the Rules and Regulations for Sewer Service shall read as follows: 10.09 In the event any chemical analysis is required pursuant to these Rules and Regulations, the customer shall pay for the actual cost of any and all required analysis, plus 20% of the invoice amount for staff time to process billing to the customer. Whenever the effluent is found to be in violation of the requirements, another chemical analysis shall be made within fifteen days to determine if the violation has been corrected. If the violation has not been corrected, service shall be terminated unfit such time as the violation has been corrected to the satisfaction of the General Manager. When violation of the requirements results in damage to the sanitary sewer facilities, the customer shall be charged for the cost of repairs and/or replacements. Section 3: The fees adopted herein shall take effect immediately following adoption of this Resolution. Section 4: That Resolution 95-17 is hereby rescinded effective immediately following adoption of this Resolution.
