SUBJECT: Summary minutes of Public Information Committee meeting

The Public Information Committee met on March 14, 2000. Directors Mike Beverage, Brett
Barbre, General Manager Bill Robertson, Assistant General Manager Mike Payne, Public
Information Officer Mike Robinson and Network Administrator Art Vega were present.
1. Web Page. The committee reviewed the progress made on creating a District internet web site,
including a home page design and content.
2. District Videos. The committee reviewed this project that will result in the creation of an
informational video and a historical video.
3. Newspaper Articles. The committee discussed rates for purchasing space in the Yorba Linda
Star for running informational articles.
4. Status Report On Upcoming Public Information Projects. The committee reviewed
completed and upcoming activities. These include the ultra low flow toilet give away event;
participation in the Yorba Linda Health and Safety Fair; reordering Lawn Watering Guides;
and development of a proclamation document.
