HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-12-21 - Resolution No. 00-16RESOLUTION NO. 00-16 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT ADOPTING PAY PLANS FOR BARGAINING UNIT AND MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISORY AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES AND RESCINDING CONFLICTING PAY PLANS ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 97-03 AND RESOLUTION NO. 97-04 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District has by Resolution adopted on May 8, 1980, adopted the "Yorba Linda County Water District Personnel Rules;" and, WHEREAS, the "Personnel Rules," as amended, directs that the salary ranges are subject to approval of the Board of Directors; and, WHEREAS, Resolution No. 97-03 and Resolution No. 97-04, both of which were adopted on June 26, 1997, set forth salary ranges in the form of a Pay Plan for the Bargaining Unit and Management, Supervisory and Confidential employees respectively for fiscal years 1997-98 through 2000-01; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to implement new Pay Plans for employees and rescind Pay Plans adopted by Resolution No's 97-03 and 97-04. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District as follows: Section 1. The Pay Plan for Bargaining Unit employees is adopted as shown on Exhibit 1 attached hereto. Section 2. The Pay Plan for Management, Supervisory and Confidential employees is adopted as shown on Exhibit 2 attached hereto. Section 3. The Pay Plans adopted by Resolution No. 97-03 and 97-04 are hereby rescinded upon implementation of the attached Pay Plans. 0 Section 4. The Personnel Officer is hereby authorized to implement the attached Pay Plans for the pay period beginning on December 31, 2000.
