HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-09-28 - Resolution No. 06-06RESOLUTION NO. 06-06 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE YORBA LINDA WATER DISTRICT APPROVING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED POSITIONS FOR FISCAL 2006-07 AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 03-04 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Resolution adopted on May District Personnel Rules"; the Yorba Linda Water District has by 8, 1980 the "Yorba Linda County Water WHEREAS, the "Personnel Rules," as amended, directs that the number of Authorized Positions and Salary Ranges are subject to approval by the Board of Directors; and WHEREAS, the Board has by Resolution 03-04 adopted on June 26, 2003, approved the number of Authorized Positions for fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004- 05; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to adopt Authorized Positions for Fiscal Years 2006-07, as set forth in Exhibit "A", as attached hereto, and rescind Resolution 03-04. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Yorba Linda Water District as follows: Section 1. The number of Authorized Positions as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto is approved and adopted for the balance of Fiscal Year 2006-07. Section 2. The General Manager is hereby authorized to employ up to the number of employees authorized in each fiscal year without further approval of the Board of Directors. Section 3. The General Manager is hereby authorized to fill an authorized position that is vacated while this Resolution is active with a new employee at a lower or equal classification. Section 4. That Resolution No. 03-04 and all conflicting minute orders are hereby rescinded effective September 28, 2006.
