Any individual wishing to address the committee is requested to identify themselves and state the matter on
which they wish to comment. If the matter is on this agenda, the committee Chair will recognize the individual for
their comment when the item is considered. No action will be taken on matters not listed on this agenda.
Comments are limited to matters of public interest and matters within the jurisdiction of the Water District.
Comments are limited to five minutes.

5.1. The date and time of the Public Affairs - Communications - Technology Committee meeting
in September is yet to be determined.

Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.5, non - exempt public records that relate to open session agenda items
and are distributed to a majority of the Committee less than seventy -two (72) hours prior to the meeting will be available

Drought Communications Customer Outreach and Education
On July 15, 2014 the State Water Resources Control Board adopted emergency regulations for
statewide urban water conservation. YLWD is already in compliance with the majority of the
emergency regulations. However, as the drought continues, the District will be working closely with
the City of Yorba Linda to amplify the message of the importance of conserving water.

Sponsorship of Table for Yorba Linda State of the City Address
The 2014 State of the City Address is Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the White
House East Room of the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace.
Options for sponsorship and participation include:
• Title Sponsor - $2,500 (Eight seats at the event, three minutes at the podium and recognition
in the event program.)
• Gold Sponsor - $1,000 (Eight seats at the event and recognition in the event program.)
• Silver Sponsor - $500 (Four seats at the event and recognition in the event program.)
• Bronze Sponsor - $250 (Two seats at the event and recognition in the event program.)
Additionally, individual seats can be purchased for $45.
