INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS AND PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Any individual wishing to address the committee is requested to identify themselves and state the matter on
which they wish to comment. If the matter is on this agenda, the committee Chair will recognize the
individual for their comment when the item is considered. No action will be taken on matters not listed on
this agenda. Comments are limited to matters of public interest and matters within the jurisdiction of the
Water District. Comments are limited to five minutes.

This portion of the agenda is for matters such as technical presentations, drafts of proposed
policies, or similar items for which staff is seeking the advice and counsel of the Committee
Members. This portion of the agenda may also include items for information only.

ADJOURNMENT:
The next meeting of the Personnel-Risk Management Committee meeting is
scheduled for July 14, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.

SUBJECT: 2008 Dental Open Enrollment
ACWA's contract with Delta Dental of California has been renewed for eighteen
(18) months effective July 1, 2008 to December 31, 2009.
The Delta Premier/DPO (PPO) plan will renew at an increase of approximately
7.41 The benefits on this plan will remain the same as currently in place.
The DeltaCare PMI (HMO) plan will experience a 2.27% monthly premium rate
increase effective July 1, 2008.
The renewal rates for both the Delta Premier/DPO (PPO) and the DeltaCare PMI
(HMO) are as follows:

If you wish to change dental plans, please contact Amelia Cloonan if you have
any questions or wish to change dental plans at 714-701-3035 no later than
June 23, 2008 before noon.
Information About Your Plan
You may wish to visit Delta Dental's website at www.deltadentalca.ora. To
obtain information click the mouse on the Subscriber Connection. You will be
able to see who is covered in your family and check your benefits on-line,
including the status of your current annual maximum, deductible and more.
You may visit the Dentist Directory to find a general dentist or specialist in your
area.
No ID Cards Necessary for Delta Premier
Delta's Premier/DPO groups do not need ID cards to access benefits. Your
dental office can verify your eligibility and coverage through the Internet and via
Delta Dental's Eligibility Fax.
Predetermination
If you need to know what Delta will pay on any procedure you need to have
done, you can have your dentist submit a Predetermination request to Delta
Dental. A notice of your covered benefits, limitations, waiting periods and out-of-
pocket costs will be returned to your dentist in writing.
