PUBLIC INFORMATION COMMITTEE
November 12, 2004
A meeting of the Public Information Committee was called to order by Committe3Cair Paul
Armstrong at 10:30 a.m. The meeting was held at the District Headquarters, 4622 Plumosa
Drive, Yorba Linda.

STANDING ITEMS
2. Future issues of Water Lines newsletter. The Committee discussed topics including the
effects of the State of California taking all of the District's property tax revenue, the effects
of a possible drought on water supplies, the Fats, Oils and Grease sewer clog prevention
program, water quality and water conservation.
3. Drought related issues. The Committee discussed the possibility of drought affecting
Colorado River, northern California and local water supplies.
4. Public Information Events. The Committee discussed the District's participation in the
Placentia Heritage Days Parade on October 8 and the Yorba Linda Fiesta Days Parade
and Street Faire on October 30.
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS
5. 2005 Urban Water Management Plan. The Committee discussed the District's plans for
performing the every-five-year update of the UWMP.
